Looking for a mentor to guide and advise your startup?
This mentorship is coordinated through the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Strengthening Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development (SEED) project in partnership with the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center under the Women Entrepreneurs’ Network.
The number of female-led startups and female entrepreneurs has been increasing in the Egyptian Ecosystem; however, their ability to scale their businesses and grow requires continuous effort and learning on their part to survive the ever-changing Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
Consequently, critical component of a healthy entrepreneurship ecosystem is having strong mentors to help entrepreneurs and startups. Therefore, USAID’s SEED in partnership with TIEC have trained 25 women mentors who have expertise and experience in a variety of fields such as business development, HR, management and finance.
If you are a female entrepreneur and/or female-led startup, these women are ready to mentor you and help you scale up your business!
While entrepreneurs could also learn and master challenges themselves, doing so in a mentoring relationship is much more effective. Mentees have the opportunity to benefit from the experiences that other entrepreneurs before them have made and are thereby enabled to overcome challenges faster. A successful mentoring relationship is a win-win situation for both parties involved – the mentors and mentees.
The selected mentees will participate in speed-mentoring sessions in order to be matched with the suitable mentor and then they will receive one-on-one mentoring for the period of 3 months with 5 hours per month as a minimum.
Mentorships are open to: female-led startups or female entrepreneurs whose enterprise is beyond the ideation phase.
