USAID’s SEED has tailored six CSR Business Inclusive Action Plans for six leading corporations in the agri-business field, namely, Habiba Organic Farms, Raya Foods, Daltex, El Rashidi El Mizan, Blue Nile, and El Nour.
SEED coached the six corporations in order to facilitate the execution of the tailored action plans. Phase II will be implemented during the project option year.
Two of the corporations have already conducted business deals worth EGP 70,000 and are anticipating more deals at the estimated value of EGP 300,000.
On another note, SEED was invited to present the business inclusive action plans on April 16 during the 5th annual CSR conference, which was organized by the FEI at the Marriott Hotel in the presence of over 700 participants.
Additionally, Dr. Raghda El Ebrashi, the USAID SEED Consultant, delivered April 21 at the SEED office a very informative presentation on the CSR & Inclusive Business program.
Dr. El Ebrashi detailed achievements made in the CSR & Inclusive Business program with the purpose of increasing the SEED’s technical teams’ understanding of the different inclusive business approaches and interventions with the private sector.
The presentation aimed at sharing the experiences with SEED Components, given that most of the activities are Cross Cutting in nature, and providing the opportunity for further development of the implementation phase, thus assisting in developing the Corporate Shared Value-CSV strategies of the corporations.
